Bedford County BASICS is a workforce development program designed to significantly improve the match between Bedford County’s business needs and educational system priorities. Its goal is to inform regional students, parents, and educators of the career opportunities that exist in Bedford County before making education and training decisions.

It is funded in part by the Federal Department of Labor, PA Department of Community and Economic Development, Regional Businesses and School Districts. The program is administered in cooperation with the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and the Bedford County Development Association.
